My story isn't updating. Help.

Whenever I try to overwrite my old story with my new version, the story in the library doesn't appear to be updated to me.
I've reopened the app, logged out and back in, and my story is stuck in the same version.
I tried looking at my story from the browser link and that was updated, which is even more confusing to me.
If it's saved online, why doesn't it show as its updated version when I refresh the app?
Try the following:
Log in to Interactive Story on the device you want to refresh.
Go to the Library and select the title from the "My Reading List" genre.
Click on the X next to the "titles" selection - this will remove the 'currently reading' version from your device.
Go to the "my published stories" genre and re-open the story.
